FACILITIES

Taylor & Associates, Inc. with offices in Garden City, Kansas and our main office located in Woodward, Oklahoma is fully equipped with extensive drafting materials and equipment, along with document reproduction and binding equipment, a reference library, and file management facilities.

The firm’s resources include a full complement of automated equipment, which support our technical, administrative, and financial personnel. Hardware resources consist of personal computers, digitizers, scanners, printers, and large-scale plotters, which are primarily used to download survey information, perform survey and design calculations, and to create/modify design drawings. The software used includes the latest version of industry standard Eagle-Point and AutoCAD drafting tools. Microsoft Office Software provides the full range of office automation tools that fill our word processing, spreadsheet, budgeting, and presentation support needs. Our workstations include e-mail and Internet services as well as some proprietary programs.

Our facilities include a laboratory that is equipped and maintained by Taylor & Associates, Inc. for testing and analysis of soils, concrete, and asphalt. Test equipment is available to perform the following:

            · Asphalt and Concrete Inspection

            · Asphalt Content by Nuclear Gauge

            · Asphalt Marshall Design

            · Atterberg Limits –Liquid Limits, Plastic Limits, and Plasticity Index

            · California Bearing Radio (CBR)

            · Concrete Testing and Design, including Slump, Air Content, and Concrete Yield

            · Compressive Strength, and Flexural Strength

            · Core Sampling and Testing on Asphalt and Concrete

            · Density Measurement using Troxler Nuclear Density Machines

            · Sieve Analysis – Ability to run two analysis tests simultaneously

            · Soils Classification

            · Standard and Modified Proctor Moisture Density Curves

Taylor & Associates, Inc. maintains several survey crews. Each crew is equipped with industry standard surveying equipment using GPS (Global Positioning Satellite) technology. We also have available several Leitz Total Stations and survey instruments which increase surveying flexibility, efficiency and accuracy.

Mobile units are also available to perform core drilling in the field.
